Tallahassee, Fla (October 29, 2010) - The Florida Department of State, Division of Elections announced today the release of new features available on our election results website Florida Election Watch at http://Enight.elections.myflorida.com

In advance of General Election Day 2010, voters can try the new features including:
-The percentage of precincts reporting can now be found on the County Reporting Status page
-A choice to Compare All Counties’ results for each race on a single page
-A page tracking Legislative Projections that can be found on the left-hand menu
-The ability to Share Your Election Results for a race through Facebook, Twitter and others

“The new features provided by the Florida Department of State increase the ability of the public and the media to view and share the results of the races that they are watching quickly and easily,” said Florida’s Interim Secretary of State Dawn K. Roberts. “The Department is continually striving to improve our services to Florida voters and the public.”

On election night, visitors to the main Division of Elections website will be automatically sent to the Florida Election Watch site; however, they can get back to the regular Division site through a link in the top banner or on the left-hand menu.  Election results will begin posting after 8 pm EST to accommodate voting in the central time zone counties.
