Kissimmee-Renewal
Renewal is a sculpture by Mindy Colton, made of marine grade aluminum shaped in one tape-like band to depict the head and mane of a rearing horse atop two elongated legs. The twelve and half foot high work is hollowed in the middle, forming a two-dimensional outline of a horse striking a dynamic solitary pose, with an energy hearkening to the mythological phoenix. The sculpture is exhibited outside in downtown Kissimmee as part of the Kissimmee Sculpture Experience. Back
