Elections - The Florida Voter Registration System has more than 10.2 million registered voters.

Archives - The Florida Photographic Collection features over 150,000 digitized photographs from the State Archives of Florida.

Corporations - Corporations maintains almost eight million business records, and Sunbiz receives almost nine million hits per week.

Museum - As the state history museum, the Museum of Florida History focuses on artifacts and eras unique to Florida's development.

Preservation - Over 187,000 archaeological and historic sites are recorded in the Florida Master Site File.

Archaeology - There are currently eleven underwater preserves and historic sites throughout the state of Florida.

Cultural Affairs - Cultural Affairs impacts all of Florida's 67 counties by supporting over 25,000 cultural events.

Divisions

Elections

The Division of Elections by nature is diverse and oversees many different functions. The Division is comprised of the Director’s Office and three bureaus: Voting Systems Certification, Election Records and Voter Registration Services. The Division is responsible for certifying all voting systems that are used to conduct elections in Florida’s 67 counties. The Division also maintains the statewide Florida Voter Registration System, which is the official state voter registration list. The Department has also implemented an electronic filing system for all candidates, committees and political parties that are required to file campaign treasurer’s reports with the Division of Elections.
