Description
WomenCinemakers is now accepting submissions from women filmmakers, directors and producers for its 2024 Biennial Edition.
We are looking for shorts, documentaries and features written, directed or produced by women. You can enter in five categories:
• Independent Cinema
• Documentary
• Dance Video
• Performance
• Experimental cinema
There are no application fees.
WomenCinemakers opens up a new space for women directors to share their powerful films and ideas, encourages and promotes a two-way exchange, offering a platform for filmmakers and critics to converge and discuss the becoming of the film industry.
Since 2012 WomenCinemakers has been actively promoting dialogue and fostering interaction between artists and their audience. WomenCinemakers offers significant support to artists, fostering their growth and assisting in their establishment within the industry.
With a blend of newcomers and established directors, our annual anthology has featured more than 900 artists over the years, with many of them competing in international film festivals including the Cannes Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, and the Venice Biennale.
How to Participate
