Sista Creatives Rising Presents: The Sistas Uprising Fund. For BIWOC and Femme-Expressing POC
Sista Creatives Rising (SCR) is a project founded by Black, invisibly disabled mother-daughter duo Claire Jones and Amaranthia Sepia. Seven chosen artists of any medium/genre based in the US and Canada will receive a $200 microgrant. Artists must submit 2 minute videos about how funds will help. Funds can be used to help pay for expenses hindering their artistic process, or can be used directly for their art projects. We encouraged disabled artists to apply.
